The Event Venues page allows you to personalize the "types" of events that your organization will be expecting to have. The below listed Types are examples taken from the BuzDemo site:
List Event Venues: This is the default menu when you open the Event Venues page.
Numbers: This number is assigned to the Venue automatically when they are listed. It is assigned temporarily based on the Venue's position in the alphabetical listing.
Del: This allows you to delete a Venue from the listing.
Event Venue: This is the name of the Venue as given when the Event Venue was created. You can edit or change the name of the Venue by clicking on this name in the list. Make the necessary changes in the text box provided, make and changes in the selections menu and click on "Update Event Venue" to save the changes. For more information on the options in the selection menu, see "Add Event Venue" below, as the available selections are the same.
Add Event Venue:This menu allows you to add a new Event Venue to your Event list:
Venue Name: This is the name of the venue you are entering into the system. Example, as shown in the menu above, include boardroom, dining room, fitness studio etc.
Seats: Enter the capacity of the venue. This will save time later as it will determine the maximum attendees permitted for events held in this venue.
Licensed: Select this box if the venue is licensed to serve alcohol.
Video Capabilities: Select this box if the venue has the necessary facilities to show video.
Audio Capabilities: Select this box if the venue has the necessary facilities to play audio.
Dance Floor: Select this box if the venue has a dance floor.
Once you have finished entering the settings you desire, click on "Add Event Venue" to save the new venue and its associated settings. It will now be listed in the List Event Venues menu above.
