Modifiers
*** New from Buz Club Software in version 14.284 and higher ***
Commencing with the release of version 14.284 Buz now supports top level groups for Regular Modifiers and Banquet Modifiers. Mofifier groups can be assigned to the Banquet Modifier group by selecting the Banquet Only check box when adding or editing a modifier group
Instructions
To launch the Modifiers application, select it from the POS Settings group.
Tool Bar
The Toolf Bar has the following Options.
- Edit
- Save
- Delete
- Cancel
- New Modifier
- New Modifier Group
- Move Modifier Up
- Move Modifier Down
Modifier Groups
Modifier Groups represent categories of modifiers. In the example above, Cheese is a Modifier Group. Each Modifier Group will have a number of Modifiers.
Add Modifier Group
To add a Modifier Group, click New Modifier Group. Complete the fields as described below.
- Description. Enter a description for the modifier.
- Forced. If the sales item requires a modifier from this group, check off Forced.
- Banquet Ony. Check off Banquet Only for modifier groups which will be available in the Banquet and Catering module.
When complete, click Save.
Change or Delete Modifier Group
To change or delete a modifier group, click on the group and select the appropriate action button.
Modifier Items
As described above, Modifier Items are associated with Modifier Groups and appear below the Modifier Group that they have been assigned to.
Add Modifier Item
To add a Modifier Item, click on the applicable Modifier Group on the left hand side, then click New Modifier. Complete the fields as described below:
- Description. Enter a description for the modifier.
- Additional Cost. If there is an additional cost for the item, enter it in this field.
When complete, click Save.
Change or Delete a Modifier Item
To change or delete a Modifier Item, click on the item in the left hand panel, then click the appropriate action button.
Move Modifier
You may move the Modifiers within the category that they've been assigned to by using the up and down arrow keys either on your keyboard or using the keys in the move up and down buttons on the Tool Bar.
