POS Profiles

POS profiles define how the POS will work. Items to be configured include, profile type, items to be sold, modifiers for F&B items, tender methods which will be accepted and messages to be printed on the receipt.

To launch the Profile Manager, select Options/POS Settings/Profile Manager.

The following is a brief description of the key areas of the Profile Manager.

Profile List. As the name suggests, this is a list of profiles. To modify an existing profile, select the profile and click on the Edit button.
Inventory Tree. This is the inventory tree which is created using the Inventory Manager. Sales categories or sales items are added to the POS grid by dragging them from the Inventory Tree.
Modifiers. This is a list of all of the Modifer Groups which were created to modify food and beverage items. Modifiers can be added to sales items in an F&B profile by dragging Modifier Groups onto the sales item in the POS Grid.
Tabs.
- Profile Items. This tab contains a POS grid onto which sales items can be dragged in order to create your POS screens.
- Tender Methods. This tab is used to assign applicable tender methods to the to the POS profile.
- Messages. This tab is used to create messages which will be printed on the POS receipt.
