Text and Colours

Text Colours

The Editor gives you the ability to change the colour of text in your documents by using a colour palette. To choose a colour, select your text and press the   toolbar button. The text colour drop-down menu that opens lets you select a colour from a basic palette of 40 shades by just clicking on the new colour.

If the colour that you are looking for is not included in the basic palette, click the More Colors option in the drop-down menu. The Select Color dialog window that opens lets you choose a colour from an extended palette. You can either select a desired shade with your mouse or enter the RGB colour value into the text box, using one of the following formats:

A colour can be applied to the whole document, a paragraph, or a section of text of any length — even a single letter. Do note, however, that for aesthetic and readability reasons it is recommended not to combine too many different colors in one document.

Background Colour

The Editor also allows you to change the colour of the text background in your documents by using a similar colour palette. To choose a colour, select your text and press the  toolbar button. The background colour drop-down menu that opens lets you select a colour from a basic palette of 40 shades.
