Editing a Page

To edit a page click on a page, from the Page Manager, click on the page name or the Edit button.

You will be in edit mode with five tabs across the top of the page: Content, Options, Search Engines, History and Draft History.

Once you have completed editing the page, you have two options:

Content

This is where most of the page editing will occur. You may change the menu text, header text and content of the page here.

There are two buttons at the top of the Content Tab named "Revert to published page" and "View/Edit Components".

If you select "Revert to published page",  the last instance of the published page will load in the editor.

TIP:  Save a draft of the page prior to reverting to the published page.

For more information on "View/Edit Components" see Page Components.

Options

Clicking on the Options Tab will bring up the following options (without the green numbers):

  1. Choose whether or not you would like your page to be visible as soon as you publish the changes.
  2. Select the parent page/section you want your page to be filed under.
  3. Setting this to "Yes" will enable a sub-menu on the right containing links to the other pages under the same page/section
  4. Change the page ranking.
  5. This displays the page type you selected when creating your page. You cannot change it.
  6. Change the site profile this page is using. See Site Profiles.

Additional options may be available depending on the page type. For example, if it is a FAQ page then you must select the facts, answers and questions you would like to display.
