Computer Hardware and IT

For a successful implementation of Buz Club Software, your club must meet our hardware and IT specifications as published in Buz Club Software Technical Installation and Specification Manual.

Below is a checklist of tasks to be completed:

  • File server onsite and configured as per Buz spec (IT) including:
    • Operating system
    • TS Plus
    • TS Print (if required)
    • Filezilla client
    • Internet Information Services
    • Create Windows User Groups (Active Directory Only) and User Accounts (as per Buz guidelines)
    • Install SSL certificate on server
    • Open require ports on firewall(s)
    • Set up and configure backups
    • Set up shared drive on server for access from admin workstations
  • Install all network printers on file server and name appropriate to use (Buz will provide guidance)
  • Unattended remote access to the file server to be provided to Buz using GoToAssist (IT/Buz)
  • Installation of Buz Club Manager (Buz) including;
    • Installation of Microsoft SQL Server Express
    • Restore club database from staging server to club server
    • Install Buz Club Software
    • Configure TS Plus
    • Configure TS Print (if required)
    • Configure WCBCMSYNC service
    • Configure Buz Web Services
    • Set up all stations in Buz Club Manager
  • Create RDP connections from each station to file server using appropriate Windows User Accounts (IT)
  • Install TS Print Client on each station (if required) (IT)
