Once the tax tables have been set up, the basic tax configuration can be completed
Select Options/POS Settings/General POS Settings, then select the Tax Info tab. The following form will load.
To complete or modify the settings, select Edit. Complete or modify the form in accordance with the instructions below.
- Tax Number 1. This field contains the label which will appear on the sales receipt.
- Tax Number 2. This field contains the label which will appear on the sales receipt.
- Purchase Freight Tax. This field contains the tax from the tax table which will be applied to freight charges when applied to a purchase order.
- Service Charge Tax. This field contains the tax from the tax table which will be applied to F&B service charges, if the service charge attracts tax. This does not apply to gratuities.
- Compound Taxes. Check this box, if taxes are to be compounded.
