Member and Sports Categories
Member Categories
Step 1: Launch Category Manager
From the main menu, select Options/Categories. The following menu will appear.
To manage the membership categories, click on Member. The following form will appear.
Step 2: Manage Membership Categories
There are four functions available within the member category manager:
- Add membership categories
- Edit membership categories
- Delete membership categories
- View members within category
Add Membership Category
Click the Add button. The Member Category Editor will appear.
Enter the category name and the discount level (if applicable). The discount level will determine automatic purchase discounts offered to the particular member classification at point of sale. This feature will be used, for example, if your club offers a ‘Mill River’ type of discount program in the pro shop.
Edit Member Category
Click on the member category to be edited. Click the edit button. Make your modifications in the Member Category Editor and then click Save.
Delete Member Category
Click on the member category to be deleted. Click the Delete button. If the member category to be deleted is in use, you will be denied the ability to delete the category.
View Members in Category
Click on the member category for which you would like to view a list of members. Click the View button. A list of members within the selected category will appear.
Sports Categories
Sports categories are managed in an identical fashion to member categories, with the exception that sports categories do not support discount levels. Follow the steps above to manage sports categories.
